Acceptance

By using 0xRoulette, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to everyone who visits, runs simulations, or writes strategy code here.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use 0xRoulette. By using the site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Not gambling

0xRoulette is a browser-based roulette simulation, game, and strategy research tool, provided entirely free of charge for education, entertainment, and research. It is a game, not a casino. No real money is ever wagered, staked, deposited, withdrawn, or paid out on this site, in any mode, under any circumstance. Nothing you do here (playing, backtesting, or forward-testing a strategy) has any monetary value or monetary consequence. Spins are generated by a deterministic pseudo-random engine: same seed, same result, every time. Some wheel configurations may model non-uniform outcome distributions as part of the simulation; in every case, results are simulated and reproducible, not predictions about any real, physical device, and never involve real currency of any kind.

Not advice, not a guarantee

Roulette's payout table fixes a negative expected value for the player; this is a fact of the game's rules and is not affected by bet sizing or sequencing. Nothing on this site, including simulation results, strategy presets, the Research log, or the Physics page, constitutes gambling, financial, or professional advice, and none of it is a representation about the odds, rules, or equipment of any real-money casino or gambling venue. You agree not to rely on anything from 0xRoulette as a predictor of real-world outcomes or as a method for winning money anywhere else.

No connection to real-money gambling

Nothing here is a casino, a sportsbook, or a money-transmitting service, and 0xRoulette has no relationship with any real-money gambling operator. If you choose to gamble for real money elsewhere, that is entirely your own decision and responsibility, made independently of this site, and you are solely responsible for complying with the laws of your own jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

The Engineer mode lets you write strategies in Lua that run client-side in a sandboxed WASM environment. Use it as intended. You agree not to:

• Attempt to break out of, escape, or otherwise subvert the Lua sandbox.
• Attack, overload, probe, or attempt to compromise the service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape the site abusively or in a way that degrades it for others.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Your code is your responsibility

Strategies you write in Lua execute in your own browser. You are responsible for the behavior and correctness of your own code. We provide the sandbox and the engine; we do not review, endorse, or guarantee any strategy you author, and a simulated result is never a promise about anything outside the simulation.

Affiliate relationship

The site contains Amazon Associates affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this in full on the Disclosure page, and Amazon’s own terms and privacy policy apply once you leave for their site.

Intellectual property

The 0xRoulette name, the site’s code, and its content are owned by the operator and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Strategies you write remain yours; we claim no ownership over the Lua you author.

Disclaimer of warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. The engine is a model of reality, not reality.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including, explicitly, any losses you incur gambling for real money elsewhere, any decision made in reliance on simulation results, and any loss arising from bugs, downtime, or data loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). You use 0xRoulette at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your use of the site; your violation of these terms; any strategy code you author or run; or your use of 0xRoulette’s content, results, or the Physics page as a basis for any real-money gambling decision.

Responsible gaming

This is a simulator, but real gambling can cause real harm. If betting is becoming a problem for you or someone you know, help exists and works. In the US you can call or text 1-800-GAMBLER for free, confidential support. Please use it.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
